Rival Nutrition — formerly known as Rivalus — is a North American sports nutrition brand built around clean, straightforward formulas and long-standing manufacturing credentials. Rival Nutrition states that it maintains a no-banned-substances policy across its product line, backed by nearly 40 years of manufacturing experience. Bulldog Nutrition is an authorized Canadian and US retailer of Rival Nutrition, backed by 10+ years in the supplement industry.
Rival Nutrition products include Promasil — a multi-source protein blend combining whey concentrate, whey isolate, micellar casein, and egg albumin — and Clean Gainer, a mass gainer whose six-source carbohydrate blend pairs maltodextrin with real food sources including organic quinoa, oat fibre, organic rice bran, organic blueberry powder, and ginger root.
Who Rival Nutrition is for: Lifters who want honest, well-constructed formulas from an established manufacturer, and anyone looking for a mass gainer that adds recognizable food-based carbohydrates to the usual maltodextrin base. Clean Gainer in particular suits hard gainers who struggle to eat enough calories and want more micronutrient value per scoop.
A note for tested athletes: Bulldog Nutrition does not independently verify third-party certification status. Athletes subject to WADA or similar anti-doping testing should confirm a product's current program listing and batch number in the relevant database before use, rather than relying on any retailer's summary, including ours.
