What's In It?
The core of the formula is 6,000 mg of BCAAs in a 4:1:1 ratio: 4,000 mg L-leucine, 1,000 mg L-valine and 1,000 mg L-isoleucine. The body cannot make these three essential amino acids, so they have to come from food or supplements. On top of that, each scoop has 500 mg of coconut water powder (Cocos nucifera) and four B vitamins: niacin (as nicotinic acid) 20 mg, vitamin B6 (as pyridoxine HCl) 2 mg, folate 400 mcg and vitamin B12 (as cyanocobalamin) 6 mcg. Non-medicinal ingredients include citric acid, malic acid, natural and artificial flavours, sucralose, acesulfame potassium and calcium silicate (exact order and anti-caking agents vary slightly by flavour).
Directions: Mix one scoop (9 g) with 12 oz (355 mL) of water. Shake or stir well. Take during weight training or any athletic event. On non-training days, take any time on an empty stomach.
